Orders to only food suppliers, or up to £1000, for example, can follow approval rules. If you want to create or edit these rules for your company, you can go to Your Business > Overview. If you can't see this tab on the top, it means that you aren't allowed to view it.
Once you're on the Overview page, click on "Manage Levels" next to PO Approval Levels on the right-hand side.
In this page, you can see the existent hierarchy and check what rules each box has. You can also create a new one by clicking on the blue button "New Level".
Group Name - you can name it as an area of your company such as Managers but also can name it as the name of a user that will be in this box;
Can approve up to - if the order is more expensive than this number, it should go to a higher level;
Rule 1 - you can create as many rules as you want. You can create rules regarding suppliers, locations, number of line items. It's up to you;
Parent group - this should be the next level on the hierarchy;
Users - all users that fall into these rules. If you want to add a new user to this approval level, simply write its email on this field and click "Update";
Can give final approval - if this box is ticked, it means that these users can give the final decision about an order. If not, it will require approval from the next level.
Bear in mind that if any user that is not present in any Approval Level creates an order, approval from the highest level will be required since the system doesn't recognize this person.
